Conversations with God

We always make Jesus a birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday Christmas morning. Well Paxten just wanted a piece of cake so he folded his hands and said, "Jesus can I have cake? Yes. Ok." "Brittney get me cake." lol

Christmas Morning

Our Christmas day traditions:

We all wake up and gather in the living room. Then we get out Jesus's birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday.

Then we open presents.

Then we stay in our pj's and play all day.

We all slept until 9 am this year and then had to wake Paxten up.

Look at his expression in the above picture. It is pretty precious.

Christmas Eve 2011

He might just be the next great baker.

Christmas Eve 2011

Our Traditions

The kids get to open a present, which is their Christmas pj.'s.

Then all the kids help to make a birthday cake for Jesus.

Then we read the Christmas Story.

Pax is being a ham bone under the tree showing off his Christmas pj's.

Woody the Pianoist

My older girls will hide their faces when I try to take surprise pictures and now he does that. Paxten is teaching Woody how to play the piano. Let me tell you, Woody, still could use some practice.
Don't look at the dust on the top of the piano. I didn't realize it was there until I looked at the pictures. Maybe later we will write abc's in it and call it art time.:)

All great musicians practice in there turkey pj's right.?.

As a little foot note. I do not know how to play any musical instrument nor carry a tune when I sing. If he has any musical talent it would be 100 percent from you. Some of my olders can play and we have payed for the lessons.

Black Horse, White Man

Paxten has been carrying these toys around the last couple days. He just found them with the toys we call them black horse and white man.It is funny because he is saying hee haw instead of yee haw. He knows what a horse says but he puts white man on his back and yells hee haw.

Transferring Snowflakes with Tongs

He really likes to do activities like this. He is a busy boy so it is good to keep him busy and thinking. In these pictures you can tell he is really concentrating.

Hot Chocolate

What do you do after you play in the perfect snow? Drink hot chocolate of course. I think this is his first hot chocolote. It has peppermint flavored mini marshmellows. Yummy.

Yes he did and I got the pictures to show him at his graduation.;)

Look What I Made and The Sneeze

Little man was building with Lego's and ran up to me saying look what I made, look what I made. I told him to wait I will get the camera. So here is his first real Lego creation that he made all by himself. He was so proud.

Here he is just being silly.
Here is the sneeze! You can almost hear it in this picture.
