Out of the Mouth of Babes

Paxten helped me pull a few weeds and then we went through an empty lot to throw them in the woods. He had on flip flops but there were alot of picker bushes in the lot. Paxten said in a disgusted, angry tone of voice, "Who put these picker bushes here!?! God!?! Me know like them here!"
I told him maybe God was trying to protect him from stepping on glass or a sharp stick so he put the pickers there so he would keep his flip flops on.

I think he is going to be either a comedian or a preacher.

I got your text and will check the mail tomorrow.:)

Learning His Name

He is doing really good with his name. He can spell it orally all in order and now we are working on getting the actual letters in order.

He is cute and smart.;)

Arctic Animals

It has been hot! So we pulled out some arctic animals and crushed ice and played in the house to get out of the heat.

Same Farm Different Day

We had so much fun at the farm we went back another day.

Paxten tryed his hand at fishing and was so excited when he caught one.

He liked petting the rabbits. He is always trying to catch wild ones that wander in our yard so this was a treat.

Getting to bottle feed the baby goats was fun.

He is trying to hold back the other baby because they all fight to be fed.

Playground in Kansas

Check out his landing from the slide. Pretty impressive.

We stopped at this little playground one evening in Kansas so the kids could play and stretch. Paxten loves to play at playgrounds.

Ducks in Kansas

Last week we spent a few days in Kansas.
Here Paxten is at a farm.

He wanted in that water to catch one of those ducks.
Here he is showing me how he is going to catch one.

 His trademark smile.

Did You Eat Him?

Paxten loved his stuff especially the hat! Here are some pictures and a cute story.

Paxten was wearing his hat and I asked him if he knew who got it for him. He said yes MaMa Kim with his big smile. I then asked him because I am trying to keep things open and help him understand things so they seem common to him who MaMa Kim was he just kept his smile and said MaMa Kim. I said you were in MaMa Kims belly. He said when I was a baby? I said yes. He said MaMa Kim eat me. I started laughing I said no MaMa Kim didn't eat you, you grew in her belly. He just smiled and continued to play. It was to funny not to share with you.
